Illuminator for Ludicrous Lumens Vulpine

I know this has been asked before, but not for some time and the market is constantly evolving.
I used a Vulpine Mk 3 add on last night, comparing a Solaris SRX and Sirius Reach illuminator. The Reach definitely just had the edge, an old Armasight and a LL ESL were unusable with it. So what's the current thinking? The Vulpine obviously likes a lot of power- anything better than the Reach out there now?

LL do there own upgraded IR. Its very good and lightweight, similar to Ward Blade.

The wraith + V2 from ludicrous lumens is the best I've used with the vulpine MK3 by far really good combination think they got a slightly newer version now, you could email him very good to deal with

+1 for the LL ESL. Very good indeed.

I second that. I have both the Wraith V2 and Wraith ESL. The V2 is definitely better than the Wraith ESL if you are often shooting at ranges over 200m.

I'm surprised to read the recommendations for the ESL. As. my origninal post said I tried one with the Vulpine last night. It was useless. Could barely see the crosshairs, let alone an image. It works brilliantly with my Alpex 4K, but was a non starter with my Vulpine.

I use mine with an Alpex and also with the Pard700

I use the LL Wraith, works brilliantly.
The ESL is designed for digital scopes like the Alpex.
The Wraith is also very good for the PVS14.

Hi, has anyone tried the wraith 940 version in comparison with the 850? I have the wraith V2 3x 850 version for long range shooting, the 940 version is about 30% less powerful?

I swapped the 940 pill which was in my ESL for an 850 one tonight (I bought it with both). It's certainly better for the Vulpine now, but both the Solaris SRX and Sirius Reach are in another league. The Alpex is clearer with the 940 pill in the ESL, but it's pixelated beyond use at distances the Vulpine has no issue with.
