Infiray Td50l + dark engine ID

Been playing around with the infiray dedicated Nv + some different ir’s hopefully going to do a side by side view with my mates pulsar c50.
Things I don’t like about the infiray td50l the rotating knob feels a bit rough but does the job perfectly.
The objective cover could do with an up grade, but in all fairness you open shoot then close.
Rubber eye boot looking at the screen feels miles away, simply unscrewed and put a rubber boot bit closer ( recoil on gun minimal)
Menu & sub menus advance pain in the …..
I main menu when you open a section gives you options to open many other parameters. ( might not be possible but less confusing, non tech old men 😂)
Image great
Night image very good.
Exposure can be adjusted bit by bit real thumbs up.
Battery life perfect.
Zeroing very easy.
The little 940 nm ir covert with turning control very good for closer areas.
Video attached dark engine ID worked very well, no messing about other than focus.
The board in video 230 yards, the cut down tree stump angle creates 247 yards
The symbols across the top of board are 2” discs ready for thermal gives you a rough idea
The led ir was very good from Nightvision store
Will download the video in a minute

Look forward to it ..

Don’t think videos can be uploaded

As in on sd if not allowed remove

And this is a photo with Led Black Sunranger ruby mini no2
Could have done a bit of adjusting but across the top of board 2” foil discs for thermal testing later, distance 230 yards

I always appreciate folk who take the time to upload actual footage of the various units available. Must say though, even allowing for the fact that video will be inferior to the viewed image, I won't be rushing out to buy a Infiray based on that clip.

So you think the video clip at 230 yards not the photo with another ir, is poor quality the 2” reflection (1/2 the size of a cigarette packet is visible) then image can be magnified up. I am not trying to sell these but for under a grand, I have seen worse. Thanks for your opinion 👍

Hi Howard,

Looks good. There will be compression making it look odd at times, but you get a very good indication at the end when you tighten the beam to match the zoomed in field of view better. Really punches.

Cheers

I understand that your sharing of this clip is for information purposes only and, as stated in my post, it is appreciated. To my eyes the image wasn't particularly crisp and had a mesh, watery texture to it. No criticism of your good self, just the image posted.
