How would you compare the TP25 tube Infiray scope vs the Arken/DNT ThermNight TNC225R? Just in terms of quality of thermal?

The specs look fairly similar in some respects, as do YouTube videos but I don't see a detection range written down for the DNT anywhere. The Infiray has the higher base mag but the DNT has the higher max magnification .

Its a tiny compact scope, very lightweight. This has a better eye display , but sensor wise same spec as Arken Thermnight.

If you want a purely thermal low cost tube style unit. Then this is an option.

The Thermnight has more features all round for the money, but if you only need thermal and prefer a scope, the Tube is a good option too.

Image wise not much in it..

It's certainly a tough choice, wanted for an air rifle. The Infiray would look sleek being tube based and obviously a better known name in the UK but the Arken/DNT ThermNight offering other options is the bonus and the Arken/DNT NV scopes that are out seem to have made a good impression.

The height above bore (of the upper lens of the ThermNight) when mounted seemed concerning for sub 12 airgun ranges. One lens being above the other and with the differing starting mags as well, I'm guessing you have to zero both the thermal and digital/nv separately to meet the same POI or not? I haven't looked massively into it, impressive if that's not the case and it is just one zero.

The ballistic calc compensate for the height on both channels. It's really good even at close range.. I thought this would be an issue, but it's pure wizardry !
