So a bit about me…. I live in Tyne and Wear and have been involved in several target sport disciplines for a number of years. This is a mix of traditional and practical types. I love my target shooting but I also love being out in the countryside. What better way to mix the two but with stalking. Wow what a minefield I opened there.
I have recently passed my DSC1 and have had a couple of guided stalks. I have also been lucky enough to be offered the rights on a 70acre woodland in Northumberland. This has Roe but other pests are to be also handled for the land owner.
I have met some amazing people and have been invited all over which I will take up when work allows.
My current stalking setup is a 6.5x55 and no issues so far. Accurate and all have dropped instantly. (So far). I do own other rifles in various calibres but those are heavy target types.
I will have lots of FSQ’s to ask and it’s good to be amongst like minded people.
