Have not hunted deer yet, but love old English rifles both Mauser origin and double rifles. Have just purchased a Rigby in .275 came across this site searching up period correct scopes found heaps of great info here. Looking forward to learning on this site.

Welcome aboard - this is a great forum and .275 Rigby (7x57) is a great cartridge. I have a BSA Hunter in this calibre and it is an absolute hammer. Reloading is the way to go as factory ammo is limited.
