All,
A bit overdue for an Intro (apologies).
I've recently relocated from Cornwall to Scotland, and have been up here for about five weeks now.
Many years ago I was raised a Keepers' Son in the Southern shires, and spent many a season on the beating line. In recent years, Clay Shooting became an interest (Sporting and Skeet) as a way to improve my ability in the field, but this then evolved into Wildfowling and led me to travel around the country through various Club Memberships and opportunities.
In respect of Stalking, it's something I've come to later in life. I try to learn as best as I am able, develop and retain my skillset regularly. Over time, I've undertaken a number of courses through the BDS to try to increase my knowledge base, and have learned something along the way with some great and patient Teaching Staff. Any time spent in the field affords an opportunity to put the theory into practice through local permissions. Admittedly, I am not as experienced as some, nor professional grade, but I work to the best of my ability every time I head out the door.
Calibre choices: 22LR and a .270.
Can't think of much else to add, thanks for reading.
All the best,
Rob
