Hi All
I'm Thomas, and I live in London. My journey into the world of stalking has taken me to various corners of the UK. I am grateful for many unforgettable experiences and learning from fellow forum members.
My wife and I started stalking a few years ago because we wanted to have a field-to-fork experience, including a challenging mountain hunt. Eventually, we found “Woodmillshootings” in Scotland. Steve, Fin, and their team have been fabulous and have helped us enormously to build knowledge and experience. We loved it so much that we have been out stalking with them several times since, learned butchering skills and will surely return to the beautiful Scottish Highlands soon!
We also completed the DSC1 certification, thanks to Paul and Sallyann from the “Corinium Rifle Range”. Paul has been an excellent, knowledgeable instructor, and he took the time to enrich the training content with many further insights!
Through the forum, we met Trevor and his team from “Total Field Sports” for a couple of days to go Muntjac and Hare stalking in Norwich. It was yet another fantastic experience with great success!
At the tail end of last year, we also had the opportunity to meet Richard, “Devon Deer Stalker,” for a few days in his lovely woodland grounds in Devon. Richard went above and beyond to provide us with an excellent experience!
We had such a great time and look forward to visiting them again!
Last week, we finally received our FAC (after applying at the beginning of November 2023), and I thought this was a good time to make this introduction post!
As a next step, we are keen to join a syndicate! If anyone knows someone who knows someone, please let me know
Best
Thomas
