Evening all. I'm based in Northants and have been stalking for about 10 years, one trip on the hinds in Scotland and I was hooked. I'm hoping take my DSC2 in January. There are some great rifles out there, but sorry (I know they are marmite) I carry an R8 (and sometimes wish it was something lighter when half way up a hill!). I'm keen on butchery and cooking but could do with some knife sharpening tuition. Game shooting (the wilder the better), beating and picking up also feature when I have time. I would love another GWP (some great stories from the 3 I had) but at the moment its a lab and a cocker. This site has been really helpful in so many ways (and still is) on my stalking journey. The breadth of knowledge and experience never ceases to surprise me. There's loads to learn which I guess is half the fun.
