I am new to the world of hunting and rifles. Saw this group with several interesting threads and wanted to become part of the community.
My exposure to rifles is limited. I have shot a few calibres in my life, mainly 22LR but also some 223 and 308. I have never stalked before, but I am very keen to slowly get involved and maybe find someone locally to help give a newbie a guided tour at some point. I live on the outskirts of West London, stretching into Surrey.
I work in IT, so I spend most of my time behind a desk. Hoping through this forum, I can meet some like-minded people, reconnect with nature and get a little bit more conscious of where my meat comes from.
Any guidance on where to get started, what to look out for and how individuals are finding their FAC applications (especially in the Surrey police force) would be very welcome!
