Hi All.
A quick introduction about myself as I am new to this site.
I have been out stalking in the uk a few of times on guided stalk’s where I have completed a humane kill and field/full gralloch, however I have also got stalking experience in New Zealand for both Red deer and Chamois this has been carried out with both guided hunts and lone stalking.
All animals in which I have taken I have also carried out full butchery for own consumption.
I am currently trying to put in a variance on my FAC to a full bore rifle (.243) (currently have rimfires on my FAC) to which my firearms officer has insisted I do the DSC1 which I am hopefully doing in April 2018.
Looking to try and get out on more guided stalks over this coming winter (2018/19) to improve my knowledge of deer stalking and to show evidence in my application for a variance on my FAC for a .243.
Outside of deer stalking I have a life time’s experience of Wildfowling here in Dorset (Poole harbour), I have also done the Rabbit control over 2 local estate’s, local farms, south west rail, local railways and the National trust for over 10 years by using every means possible to control them but mainly I used rifles and night vision.

I look forward to being part of the community and forum.
