Hi all pretty much at the start of the road into deer stalking based in Peebles previously studied NC gamekeeping at borders college where i am now on the waiting list to do my dsc1 done some practical work with deer e.g. helping with feeder stags and putting up high seats and brashing rides ect but never had the opportunity to get out on a stalk yet , pretty much been using lockdown to study for the dsc1 but been unable to book a stalk due to covid-19 so would love to get my 1st deer in prior to doing my dsc1 and just really want to get out and learn more on the practical side from someone with a bit of experience and pick there brains about getting into the sport and the best way to go about it .
