Hi, I'm Dan and 35 years old.
I have been reading posts on this forum for the last couple of years and am grateful for the information I have found.
Unfortunately it has taken this long to join!
I moved to East Sussex a couple of years ago, and have been shooting fallow deer on land bordering the Ashdown Forest.
Prior to that I was living in Devon where it was mainly roe deer, rabbits and pigeon.
I have a .22, .243 and sgc as well as a rhodesian ridgeback but he only accompanies me during gralloching and butchering!
I don't know many people who shoot in this area - so I am hoping to hear from and potentially meet like minded people.
I have enjoyed sharing the experience of shooting with people who have not had the opportunity to do so before and explaining the importance of safe, ethical and sustainable deer management. I would like to be able to include people with disabilities/medical conditions that may make stalking on their own difficult (safety permitting).
Happy stalking
Daniel
