Introduction

Hi all

I’v read many many threads on this forum over the years but only just joined ! I’m an avid hunter with around 20 years experience although I’m relatively new to deer stalking but have well and truly caught “buck fever” !! Current arsenal is tikka t3x .22-250 (currently set up with vortex razor hd lht for muntjac and a dusk/dawn fox) tikka t1x .17hmr (currently set up with pulsar digexn450) anschutz 1416 .22lr with lueopold on top...Theoben rapid .22 fac and a couple rare theoben sub12 air rifles for collection purposes...I am looking to add another centre fire to my cabinet for deer (England legal with ability to take reds/fallow/sika)...I have a few questions regarding this which I will soon be posting and look forward to hearing everyone’s opinion. Look forward to speaking with like minded hunters and perhaps even gain some more knowledge/understanding of wildlife and hunting in general. Welcome on board- just joined myself (yesterday!).
I am just ploughing through the threads trying to get a handle on the right kit for me - so we are broadly in the same boat.
I have a .17hmr at present and space for a .223 and a 6.5mm caliber - I felt I had to seek a variation from .243 so that I could confidently get 100gn+ non toxic rounds when this becomes necessary.
