Greetings to the community! I'm an Estate Director in Hertfordshire, where I oversee the management of a herd of Reds in a historic deer park, and the stalking of wild Muntjac, Fallow and CWD in mixed woodlands. We have a walk-in chiller and processing facility on-site, and venison is sold to game dealers, locally to pubs, restaurants and catering companies.
I use an old reliable Tikka m55 in .308 on the estate, where I grew up around deer and shooting. In recent years I've been joining my German partner and her family on wild boar culls, we are hoping to acquire a Bavarian Mountain Hound to train together as a tracker in due course.
