Hello fellow message board members.
I’m based in Australia and have a passion for shooting, particularly Deer. I own a country property that gives me access to some of my own rough shooting. I have shot in the UK, a fairly broad gambit from rough/driven in the south to some stalking in the north. BTW I spent my honeymoon in Scotland in December!
I really enjoy hunting with a group of friends; I’m an unapologetic traditionalist and I’m very carful who I shoot with, not socially, but rather safety and etiquette and those who share my respect for tradition.
I have a passion for traditional guns and rifles. In addition to the usual 22s etc… My collection (thus far) includes:
1) 2 x 1908 Boswell “Pigeon” guns.
2) 1962 Steyr 30:06
3) 1958 Steyr 243
4) 1984 Perazzi MX-8 (sporting clays)
5) 1983 David Lloyd 7MM
I’m passionate to find out more about these guns/rifles; everything from how to take care of them, their history and what to ADD to my collection.
I welcome any and all suggestions / thoughts on my budding collection and what i should add to it. Assume I’m a complete dunce, albeit thirsty for knowledge.
Cheers
