Hello all.
I have joined the site because I am just beginning my journey into deer stalking and this seems like the best way of seeing what like-minded people are up to and thinking about.
I'm a reasonably experienced shot having being involved in full-bore target rifle shooting for most of my adult life, but I'm well aware of my limitations having only ever shot prone or from a bench, so will need to learn new positions and techniques for successful stalking! FAC and SGC holder, with a .308 Tikka T3 in the cabinet that I intend to use for stalking.
I will be taking my DSC 1 next month and I am looking forward to it. I am hopeful for the subsequent amendments to my FAC that will allow me to use my rifle outside of a range. I have been out on one stalk so far with a friend, which resulted in barbecued muntjac that evening!
I live in Norwich. Username based on my being a fan of Garth Marenghi's Dark place (I have no medical qualifications).
