Hi All,

My name is Tom, I am based in Middlesex. I am currently a shotgun certificate holder who shoots sporting clays and driven pheasant. I am a probationary member of the NRA at Bisley. I will be taking my PDS1 soon and going on my first stalk this week! Thank you for having me in the community, I look forward to talking to you all soon.

I was going to do the course as a means to getting my FAC, along with a few accompanied stalks.

That is a good shout, I didn't realise there was much of a difference. I would prefer a classroom based course so maybe the DSC1 is better suited.

With DSC1, you get sent all the learning materials in advance. Then on the course, they go through the different sections before taking the tests, also a shooting test.
