Hi all, I’m John or Moose to some that know me. I live in Somerset and enjoy deer stalking, beating and clay & game shooting. I have been shooting in some form since I was 8 years old (air rifles) followed by 22 years in the RAF so no stranger to firearms (let the forces banter commence) I mainly shoot Roe and the occasional Fallow for which I use a Sako S20 in .243. I keep hearing rumours of Muntjac in Somerset but haven’t seen one on the levels yet. I also have other rifles in .17HMR and 30-06. Would like to do some driven boar shooting at some point and am currently doing my DSC2 which I hope to complete early in the new year.
