Introduction

Hi all,

Long-time lurker, new poster here.

I'm based in Warwickshire and divide my time between the family farm and my day job in London.

I became FAC and shotgun-licensed last year, so still fairly new to all this and looking to learn. Prior to that, I spent several years on the sub-12 airgun trying to keep the local squirrel and pigeon populations down.

I spend most of my time varminting, but looking to get into deer hunting (we have a lot of muntjac and roe). Booked to do my DSC1 in March.

So far my cabinet includes:

- 30" Beretta Silver Pigeon 1
- 28" Beretta Silver Pigeon 1 (second-hand knockaround gun - I actually prefer this one)
- Beretta A400 Extreme Plus (for the magnums / wildfowling)
- Mossberg 500 .410 Hushpower (crows, pigeons, squirrels)
- Tikka T1x 17 HMR (day scope)
- Tikka T1x 17 HMR (Alpex 4k / night hunting)
- Tikka T1x 22LR (subsonic rabbits)
- Daystate Alpha Wolf 22 FAC air rifle (mostly pigeons and squirrels)
- Weihrauch HW100 177 sub-12 air rifle (what I originally got started with)

Hoping to get my .308 variation approved soon - and it'll probably be a Sako 90. But open to other suggestions!

Sako are considered a very' good rifle, Do not quote me saying, some people had reservations on the 90, worth doing a little research? I believe it was discussed on here some where.
