Hello from Orkney, long time lurker and seeker of guidance. Live in the country where I mostly participate in pest control for farmers but love target shooting too.
My quarry of choice are rabbits, crows when applicable and greylag geese.
I have 2 .22lrs which are work horses and a my pride and joy is my S&L .22-250

Nice to meet you from, currently in Aberdeenshire but keen to get up to Orkney on the geese sometime. Not sure if you’ll know but wondering how much goose sells for on the island as I’ve always been interested - is there much demand?

Hi Sanjay, the geese have started coming in again so any time from now is when to come. I wouldn't say there is a huge demand for the meat and can't tell you what it sells for I'm afraid.
