Cotswold Deer Stalking - Introduction
Thank you for having me on the site. Having been employed in professional deer management for over 10 years, I am now a deer stalker in the north Cotswolds, stalking on just over 6,500 acres between Cirencester and Cheltenham. , We stalk over two private Estates, blessed with beautiful rolling Cotswold countryside, including grass valleys, forestry and farmland, with an abundance of Roe, Fallow and Muntjac. We have estate rifles in .243, 6.5 Creedmoor and 30.06, I personally enjoy a .243, but am using a 6.5 more often due to adopting lead free ammunition.
We have to date conducted accompanied stalking outings for clients via word of mouth, however we would like to grow this. Particularly for Roe Bucks during the summer months, as well as cull outings during the winter.
My main reason for joining is to welcome discussion by anyone interested in stalking in the Cotswold, but also to engage like minded people.
