IOR Binoculars

I have been looking at IOR 7x40 binoculars. There are a lot available online for £170-250. I realise that the scopes have a superb reputation and wondered if anyone has any experience of the binoculars?

I am looking for some relatively lightweight and robust binoculars to keep in the pickup and for traveling. I have an old Zeiss pair I bought on eBay, but I have been very disappointed. Far inferior to my Swarovski range binoculars and I am not sure if the IOR would be any better?

An update on this - I bought the IOR binoculars and am really impressed. I have a set of Swarovski binoculars also in 7x and there is little to choose between them. The only downside is that you have to focus each eyepiece individually, otherwise they are really impressive
