I’m having a nightmare with my IR mounting and torch.

I’ve got a Blackwood outdoors high adjustable mount. But the torch I’ve got a Wulf seems to bounce off everything and everywhere, unless it’s narrowed right in.

Does anyone have a laser IR torch that would pair well with the Alpex?

Thanks

Not entirely sure why?
Hello, Seems strange you using a high adjustable mount and the as you said bounces off everything, But good when set to a narrow beam, What N/V scope are you using, I had this with my Photon a I/R Laser but perfect when using LED

Hi flash,
As above it’s alpex 4k lrf.
The high mount seems to point the torch at the mod on my rifle and I can’t get it past it or over it.

Hello, My friend has the Alpex A50 T and uses the torch that came with it and works well with no bounce

It wont matter what IR you use if you cant get it past the Moderator, try mounting it e IR in a different angle/place you can get off set mounts under barrel mounts etc etc Ants supplies do a lot of this type of stuff HTH

You only need a spoot that fills the units eyepeice.
If that meanns a tighter spot then fine.
If it is bouncing off the mod, reposition.
Ultra high too rsise it or, piccy on side of stoock.
Undermount
Magnetic mount on barrel or mod though least favorite.
940nm more discrete but less range
Mine wpuld easoly hit 300 yds (LED)
850 longer but red glow some animals may be aware of.
Andy at Ludicrous Lumens can suggest options.
The mount and unit made by Hicmikro is fine.
I used a tri LED RED, 850 and 940 with remote on/off and dimmer.
