I‘m just back from a regeneration cycle. I had to take a detour of abeut 8km in order not to break the cycle before arriving at the shopping mall.

After 52 years in vehicle designing admittedly body & interior it is hard to believe that such a dumb idea for diesel disposal into the sump got past the various controls that are in place throughout the vehicles gestation period. JLR must be asleep at the wheel, or the no experience folks from Pune have got too much say nowadays.

I'm sure being part of the automotive industry you've seen that modern vehicles are designed to be as cheaply/efficiently made on a production line with little to no concern on how they will be fixed/repaired/maintained by the owner.

Service items hidden behind fixed units that need to be removed to service, for example, to replace a sidelight bulb required front wheel removal and the arch to be unclipped on a previous pick up.
