Took a benelli m2 3 months old to see how much they would offer me £300 to £400 I paid £1,450 this is at a shop
Yes a rip off. My favourite semi-auto. Best price in gun shops is about £900. Need to factor in the gun shops margin - many work on minimum margin so could be that. Also semi-auto’s are much slower to move than o/U’s so it’s not a great trade in. I’ll give you more than £400 if you want to sell it. PM me, if you want.Took a benelli m2 3 months old to see how much they would offer me £300 to £400 I paid £1,450 this is at a shop
Would this be a shop near Thame? Friend of mine is retiring from firearms and decided sell, S1 Remington 1100 almost as new £0.00, CZ 452 17HMR, immaculate £50.00.Took a benelli m2 3 months old to see how much they would offer me £300 to £400 I paid £1,450 this is at a shop

This!I have heard from a few friends that use different gunshops that they have stopped taking guns in as they have been inundated with people wanting to get rid of rifles and shotguns. Maybe they did not want it
It is alas, true. That £400 is four canisters of powder that will likely sell quickly and being powder is more likely to easily find buyers than one £400 invested in a self-loading shotgun. My French 12 bore boxlock ejector I bought from Southam's some time before covid for £240 hammer didn't even make a bid of £35 when it was offered there in December 2025 with a reserve of but £100. So back home it came. This!
the market is swamped with guns, why would a shop pay big money to have it sitting on a shelve for ever and a day!
