what as in arctic out doors or Jahti Jakt etc ? got a few of their bits and always been good

Those were the days back in the 80's when they were very popular and were sold as a set or, for a few quid more, a super set.
I got the super set and it turned up in a bl===y great sack and in it was everything you could think of.
I still have the jacket, reversible fleece, thermal underwear and braces, it was excellent value.

Yes, good value and seemed to do what intended - still got some of the kit (as do few chums)!
Arctic Outddoors where the people who were fronting the Jahti Jakt name from Scandinavia.

I did a review of them in the early 90's for a magazine. It was an 'honest' review, warts and all and they were good for the price. They'd sent me 2 complete suits, one camo and one green. When I came to return them Jahti Jakt told me to keep them. The fleece and undies were very good and outlasted the outer layers. I'm still using the undies, though I never understood why you needed camo on underwear.
A bit pointless, like those advertised camo torches.

I still have my standard issue Jahti Jakt fleece!! And the suit that came with it...

it was good enough clothing and as said - everyone had it!

When I did a search it said they ceased trading on 2017. It a shame as my suit/ set is like new and I wanted to get one for my son. Used it North America and Aus’. Don’t want to pay HARKILA prices although a big fan.

I recall they had a stand (trestle table!) outside the Bisley Pavilion back in the day. Purchased 2 pairs of their awesome lightweight gloves.

A real shame they have ceased . They were really helpful and good kit . I also would like to find some as mine are a bit thread bare . im a size Small IF JS1234 is a different size as he asked first .
