Now that is smart and very tempting as I now have two and was kinda thinking of doing something with the old girl (not Lady FB - at least not for a while).

I supplied the vehicle

With transport there and back @ £550 each way

Plus the cost of the conversion

I had no change from £14,000

For me it was worth it

The vehicle above is a good deal

Hmm.
A 2005 “civvy” Jimny in good order couldl go for £4/£5,000 (with MOT) - which kinda makes this an absolute steal (I wonder if SWMBO would notice a third one?).
Good luck with the sale N.

The only downside I could ever see with a Jim Jeep lack of top speed to go any great distances and amazingly for its weight, poor mpg.
That aside what a fantastic knock about vehicle and hellish practical for someone as a local shoot bus. Good luck with the sale, as said compared to the cost of a new build one its a steal.

Indeed my jimny is shortly being sorn to the shoot I live on and a oldish Hilux purchased for stalking as most of my permissions are too far for the wee jimny and my fillings ! I have got a newish jeep Cherokee which is 4x4 but too nice to splash deer 🩸 everywhere good job I’ve plenty of parking

Hmmm.
For interest - my shoot is 25 miles away and one of my rifle clubs is 60 - defo not a limo but never had any issues over those distances and petrol comes in at about 37mpg.

You can drop the 1.6 Vitara engine in it or get a diesel conversion done. There is a a kit you can get so you can drop a VW 130pd or 150pd engine in it out of a golf if you want more speed, better economy, pulling power etc...
