Khales RF binocular issue

I’ve got a pair of Khales RF 8x42 and just recently the rf number are only half showing.

Anyone with any great insight into the problem and if it can be fixed - they are probably 6 or so years old so electrics are well out of warranty hashtag should have bought vortex

I had the same issue and sent them to Kahles. They said they couldn‘t repair them. Instead they offered me a pair of the new model for a surcharge.
I took the offer, sold the new one right away and bought a GPO at less than half the price.

Are the GPO any good? I like the idea of the vortex warranty and I’ve never been just delighted with the Khales RF

I have the 10x32 GPOs. I like them a lot and have nothing to complain about. After I had bought them GPO introduced the 10 & 8 x 40.
They are more or less the same (light) weight and small size of my 32 model. If I were to buy again I‘d take these.

In any case my Kahles experience has taught me not to spend any serious money on optics with electronics inside. When these fail I need to be willing to bin them and buy new.

I sold my pair of Kahles RF.
Instead I bought myself a Leica CRF and a Swarovski EL 8.5x42.
