Kuiu have a fitment guide on each product and a review section where previous customers can leave feedback.

I have found them to be pretty accurate in the past.

Attach trousers would appear to be true to size.

Read the reviews on the Size and Fit as there usually pretty detailed and will help with your decision. KUIU tends to run small in sizes.

Glendine.

Are you ordering these for stalking or general wear? If it’s stalking, I’d recommend you opt for something else as the Attack trousers catch and snag on anything and everything.

The Kutana are my go to trousers. Exceptionally light yet robust. I wear merino leggings under them in the winter.

The switchback trousers are good. I wear them stalking and casually.

Everything in the guide range seems to be slim fit.

I just measured the three pairs of size 36 waist of attack pants I own and they are actually 38 inches. Trousers are usually made bigger than waist measurement to all for clothing to be tucked in. The attack pants will stretch with wear due to the stretch of the material similar to jeans then shrink back when washed, I always wear mine with a belt due to this, the Harkila elastic belt works for me, I have a kuiu webbing belt as well. A word of warning on the stretch Kutana pants I ordered a pair of 36 size waist in khaki colour, the waist was way too big , the legs and seat were baggy as well. I didn't bother returning them but shrank them in a hot wash which worked alright, the waist is now 38 inches the same as Attack pants. I bought another pair of Kutana stretch pants in Ash colour in size 34 and the cut of the legs and seat are small, the actual waist is 36 1/2 inches. They are alright for me but I would prefer looser legs and seat. So the size 36 I had in khaki weren't right it seems but I read in the comments on sizing on Kuiu website others had problems with waist size in 36 being too big. My hip measurement is 40 1/2 inches as measured in the YouTube link attached and my waist is 38 inches where the trousers waistband are when worn , just as would be with jeans say. Kuiu sizes are variable to say the least.

I'm wanting these for stalking. Don't want anything too heavy or warm, but I do like a skinnier leg rather than a baggy one. I have chicken legs.
How do the Kutana trousers fair?

I rate the Kutana. I’m generally a 33/34 waist in jeans but may need a 36” in slim fit suit trousers. The 34” waist Kutana is a slim fit trousers on me. The stretch makes them exceptionally comfortable and I can move in them unrestricted. I’m like you, I’m not a fan of baggy trousers, especially for stalking. I had the 36” Kutana, but far too baggy. My brother has them now.

The Kutana are much lighter than the Attack, but much more durable. They are surprisingly durable for such a lightweight trouser. The one annoying thing is the draw string on the zips. I’ve taken them all off.

I’ve thrown Attack trousers in the bin after a few outings where I’ve needed to go through cover.
