Floods are hammering northern Australia and I see where LN Station gets a mention.

Calling three million acres home is a handy sort of area if you were wanting to trial a few firearms eh wot!

Wow indeed. And I didn't realize how flat that area is.

I presume that as soon as the rains stop, the water will seep into the ground or evaporate fairly quickly. When the waters do receed, will the whole place spring into bloom with dormant seed germinating?

Those places will have 2-3 years of chest high cattle feed after the floods. Its all part of the top end`s cycle.
