My vague, rambling thoughts on "trained hunter" TH status / large game meat hygiene.
DMQ say on their website that TH status can only be gained by achieving DSC1 & 2.
BDS run DSC1 with optional Lantra Large game meat hygiene.
NGO run both DSC1 with add on Large game meat hygiene, or Large game meat hygiene on its own.
BASC (who share the same offices as DMQ) do not offer any Large game meat hygiene course (with the exception of DSC2)
I went with BDS DSC1 with Lantra LGMH.
BASC / DMQ (at a cost to myself of £15) issued a qualifications card showing DSC1 and Trained hunter number (lantra number)
The mind boggles
