Large 20+ gun safes

Personally, I would never put all my guns in one cabinet, why? Last year one of my cabinets with a combination lock refused to open. My farmer friend and I eventually cut into it and got the guns out. I hope I would never have to do this again. I tried various locksmiths but none of them wanted to know.

Again worth noting to others - My Locksmith, Jon Drake of the MLA. would tackle it

This company make safes for mainly firearms they are located in Nurnberg, the owner was the chairman of our local shooting club. I have two of them since 2002 and the paint around the lock hole is not yet damaged.

There were some impressive large gun safes on display at , Jagd und Hund. Would need some rollers to get thase into place. It made me sweat moving my two 150+kg safes, one into the cellar when I moved. Those German made safes were impressively made.

Just a thought , would it be possible to turn a room into a walk in gun room.
change the door , for something that is fire arms suitable?
Might be a cheaper option rather than import something . Ask the local RFD where they get the doors for the holding rooms . Just a idea .
More to it than that. Reinforced rendering, floor support, strengthened windows etc. read the regs if going fown this route…..

I would think it would be possible to build one fairly easily by using a safe for the door aspect and buying some 3mm steel plate to make larger, would be an afternoons work for a competent welder.
