Large double sided Wood Burner recommendations

Looking to replace our large double sided Woodwarm stove (probably 45yrs old) that sits between two rooms. It has solid doors that have vents at the bottom, so to see the flames we have to have the doors open. When shut, these don't seal shut and this is the issue as very often smoke puffs back into the room through the doors &/or vents depending on the wind.

So, really just after opinions as to which high quality brands/models we should perhaps be considering - thanks.

Grew up with these in almost every room on our farm, but designs have changed so don’t know if you can get the double door type anymore

Whatever you get, buy high quality Danish/Scandi as there’s a huge difference in cast iron qualities, don’t skimp but invest

Thanks all, I am a great believer in 'buy once, cry once' so happy to pay more for top quality.
Currently, the flue goes up into a square brick chimney with no liner which is possibly some of the problem with smoke coming into the room. So, we will definitely be looking at a pucker install with flue liner, etc. Thanks again for yoir input.

Hi, I've just installed a

Woodwarm Fireview 5kW.. wow, truly superb, extremely efficient and almost too hot. The glass stays clean.... no complaints. Manufacturing quality.... faultless... you'll not be disappointed. We heat a large room and we have to open the stairs door to let the heat out....worth every penny and I wish I had put one in years ago.

Check out Recoheat for maximising heat output from your stove that would otherwise end up not
being used. Quite a step up from a top mounted stove fan. In the case of a double sided stove you may elect to have the heated air pushing into the most used room, alternatively you may decide to warm the other room/s in the house by the movement of the heated air, the rolling movement being the catalyst that helps it circulate. Plenty of happy customers, easy to install at installation time.

Pump best installed outdoors. He’s not the slickest of salesmen, but the product does get many plaudits.
