Largest House Spider?

Found this under the stairs. Does it count?

Your pictures of 'him', are actually portraits of Her.
The girls in the arachnid word are the bruisers. Poor little chap - out for a hot date - can easily end up as lunch, if she don't fancy ya.
Its a mature male , if you look closely at the front pair of appendages it appears to be wearing boxing gloves. It uses these to deposit sperms in the female . After their final moult the males appearance changes , they become leggy ,the abdomen appears small and they grow what appears to be boxing gloves .
You're correct in saying the females in the spider world are the bruisers though.

I have to admit that I did have a look on Google which is why I initially thought it was a "he"! However I am used to being wrong and am always happy to be corrected when I am!
 
They can give a bit of a bite.
Yeah mate in work had a nasty ring not to dissimilar to tick bite, but of a scabby bite in the middle. He thought Ibwas making it up until I told him to check out google images.
Wont kill you but bite can be nasty yo the skin! Sometimes deep to.
