has anybody had any problems with seating lead free
With lead free being that bit longer and the ogive getting further from the point
When seating some 114 yewtree I noticed the point getting slightly deformed
On dismantling the die hornady seating stem did not contact the ogive but the point bottomed out in the stem first ..
no matter what I did
Can see some drill bits coming out tomorrow to get a little extra room 🤪🤣

I have had this issue with heavy for calibre bullets, and Lee sent me a new stem FOC for my 222 die. I have used that stem in my lads 223 die for his 69gn bullets. IF you have any other seating dies have a look see if a stem swap might solve your problem. I have previously put a stem or two in my lathe and drilled them out/reshaped to suit.

You can also try putting some epoxy or such stuff in the stem and press the bullet into it.
Getting a stem for VLD bullets sometimes cures problem.
Ken.
