Leaf blower recommendations

I have the Stihl with AK battery's. It's good BUT, I wish it were the version with multispeed trigger.
Sometimes you need to soften the blast but gently squeezing the trigger brings no response at first, then sudden full power.

Do you actually want a blower or a vacuum mulcher one which is a better option. Some come with a blower function. Go two Alco and a Flymo. Great for vacuuming up leaves grass cutting etc. Both mains.
All the professionals I know use the Sthl blowers. Used one it was like using a jet engine but that was petrol powered one.

Hi Mike,
I have the Stihl leaf blower with the professional range AP batteries. Have a major leaf collection task in the autumn with a massive copper beech and poplar plus many other trees. A stacked P6e with mesh sides is not sufficient to dump all the (bagged & compressed) leaves in one trip. It replaced a petrol Stihl blower / vacuum. Its amazing, so much better than the petrol product, as it is instant on or off, lighter, no fumes and great power control on the trigger that is v.important for making the job easier. One 'small' AP200 battery lasts long enough to do enough leaves to charge itself while I am packing the leaves in bags, although I have two batteries so am covered anyway. Great choice if you are ready to buy into the Stihl electric tools ecosystem as the batteries can be used across the range. If you have already invested in another premium manufactures' battery system then maybe stick with that!

This is the way to go ^^^ I have Makita works tools so opted for Makita cordless garden equipment and it's great.
If you had told me this time last year I would be using a cordless strimmer and hedge cutter I would have laughed, it's much easier with regards to noise and ease, the Stilh petrol may be up for sale 🤣🤣..... at this rate I may be getting an EV 🙃

I've a dewalt battery powered one it's very good for what I need to do wasn't overly expensive either came with charger and 4ah battery
