Leaving - days to go

Uh-huh. Want to explain Eniskillen, and expand on your 'Irish democracy' a wee bit more?
How in the name of all the saints in heaven can you just randomly bring that atrocity Into a conversation and expect me to explain it?
Your ignorance disgusts me.

If it doesn't matter to you and is irrelevant why do you make it a topic of conversation?

You're the one quoting my posts, would you prefer if your ignorance went uncorrected?

You'd never learn anything with that attitude.
I think the moderators have better things to do but so come on fellers , take a dram and chill a bit. It will do you good, really it will .

I must admit to having used the "Ignore button" for a couple of "contributors" recently and I've only been a member since 2008! :tiphat:

SD contributions are a lot like a mélange of Royal Command performances, the Goon Show, MRLP political broadcasts, Jethro, pantomime, Johnny Kingdom, David Attenborough, visual slapstick, W.I. correspondence, serious reportage, and deerstalking gold. There is high brow, low brow and just plain daft.

A bit like the telly, you would probably get bored if there was only one channel, so I avoid the ignore button.

And, if I am honest, there is a car-crash facination about watching the more vociferous voices double down on their poor position with ever more inciendary and perjorative vitriol.

When you've been involved in a warmish exchange and the condemnation starts coming in from spectators, the most fun comes from trying to work out whether it's you they're complaining about or the other guy. It's more fun than the original exchange to be honest.
It's also fun trying to work out who's got you on ignore. The really tricky customers are the peepers, those who have you on ignore but can't resist having a little look at what you've said. When you suspect you have identified a peeper the objective is to try and lure them into peeping and then giving themselves away by responding. It's much better than Christmas telly.
