Thinking of getting a LED scope mounted lamp. Has anyone got/used one they'd recomend?

Oh then took everything off cos I went fully over to NV but I use the torch for spotting and picking up and am really happy with it. Only thing is if it goes pop you ain't gonna have much of a warrenty. But for the price......

I have a Laser Genetics designator ND3 from Uttings http://www.uttingsoutdoors.co.uk/Product/912/104232/laser-genetics-nd-3-laser-designator-nd-3/but I find it no good when cold. See they have a new sub zero version out but I'm not sure lasers work very well when its cold?
How does the Clulite compare to the Deben? http://www.ronniesunshines.com/tracer-tri-star-pro.html

Pretty much. I am out Saturday night weather permitting so will double check. I know I spotted a fox eyeshine at about 100 meters no bother last week.
I got one of these off the bay & my buddy & I were both amazed at the beam from a self contained unit.
First night out got a bunny & Charlie off it.
Funnily enough it was mounted on the HMR & my mate had to point the rimmie at Charlie while I shot it with a 6mm.
I got a good price too £114 when most places were asking £145.

That's just what I was about to say... I've got one of his set-ups, no complaints for the price.Stig
Singing stalker put me on to the LED torch I got 2 for I think £20. They are excellent, will illuminate a fox at C/F ranges. The uk sellers are absolutely fleecing us, they are getting them from China for a few quid and putting £50-100 mark up on them. As for Cluson, well v good traditional stuff and mounts, LED jumped onto the same bandwagon.

I just bought a Deben Tri Star Pro from a nice chap on here (light only).
the rip off here is the batteries.
Deben want £80 for a 4aH Li-Polymer!
you can pick up 6-8aH Li polymer and Li-ion batteries for 1/4 of that and fit your own connectors.
havent tested the light in anger yet as I am waiting for the battery.
