Sold: Lee Enfield No5 “Jungle Carbine”

Here for sale is my .303 Lee Enfield No5, also known as the Jungle Carbine.

I bought this about 18 months ago and have never really used it, and could do with the cabinet space, hence the sale. I have fired around 100 rounds through it in my ownership. The RFD I bought it from claims it had a brand new barrel that he managed to find (still covered in cosmoline) fitted before he put it for sale, as the old one was past its best. There is no paperwork proof of this however the rifling in the barrel is very good and does look very new. The Barrel is a genuine No5 barrel with the lightening cuts.

Unfortunately, the rifle does not have all matching numbers, but to someone like me who isn’t a die hard Enfield collector, this causes no issue.

I have always taken care of this rifle in my ownership, with it being fully cleaned after every use.

The rifle comes with a few front sight posts to change depending on what distance you want to zero, I also have a replica bayonet for it that I would be happy to show someone who would be interested.

Looking for £650,
I would also be up for a part-ex / trade for a Mauser K98.

If anyone would like any more pictures please feel free to ask.

Located in North Yorkshire, any viewing is more than welcome.

Thanks, Fordy

Hi there, is the Jungle Carbine still for sale? Awaiting a variation from North Yorks FAC team, but very interested. Whereabouts in N.Yorks are you? Thanks.
