No it’s a left handed stock, as far as I’m aware the 525sl all still operate to the right side,

My Browning 525 SL Laminate is a True Left Handed gun, it has a left opening lever , only waited 25 years for this to happen, I’ll take a picture when I can

Hope ur well, I’ve not seen one that opens on the left, mines a left handed cast stock, mines about 2yrs old so maybe that why

Browning do a whole range of True Left Hand ie Left opening top levers on their shotguns now
