Left Handed Options?

Thanks, that would actually be preferred, but I've been advised that if I cannot home load (which I absolutely cannot due to lack of space), the 6.5CM is a much better option for calibre 😟
Sorry if this offends but who has told you that carp!?

Suggest before you write off the option of a very good rifle in a tried & tested chambering that you have a cabby round your local gun shops to see who has what ammo. I’d be very surprised if you cannot secure a supply of 6.5x55 ammo loaded with both hunting & target shooting bullets. I’m sure Edinburgh Rifles can sort you out without too much difficulty.

Both Savage and Ruger make left handed versions of their bolt guns. Both are very reasonably priced. Not the same quality level as many of the others mentioned, but fully functional and very accurate. So there are less expensive options out there. Not sure of availability where you’re at.
Looked at a Savage and not impressed. Went for an M18 in RH at a very good price

Edinburgh Rifles...

Cheers, wasn't after opinions on calibre, just purely after what rifle options there are for southpaws.

Fair enough if you like it. The Savages can feel "agricultural" but they are accurate (the plastic stocks are definitely unlovely!).

It looks like there are LH rifles available - I am curious that you went with a RH bolt over a Tikka - is there something about the T3 that you don't like?

yep, Tikka only has 2 stage safety and want a 3 stage or bolt release like an X Bolt

The Sako has a two stage safety that locks the bolt closed when engaged, but has a button to push to allow the bolt to be opened while the safety is engaged still. This might be an option as Sako offers many options in Left Hand. I have a model 75 in .270 Win in left hand that’s a nice rig. Tikka and Sako are the same company so all good stuff. Just throwing out options for you. Being a lefty myself I’ve gone through all of these same issues. I’ve got Savage, Sauer, Tikka, Sako, and now Anschutz. So they’re out there.
