Leica geovid HD-B advice need

Hunter 6.5

Well-Known Member
Good evening all, about a week ago i had a chance to take out for first time my binoculars and did some random basic measures. Today after spending few hours reading the instructions i manage to upload my custom ballistics and set the binoculars. Playing wit the menu everything looks good except one: On page 43 manual said

To check your settings at any time ,briefly press the secondary/menu button (8) twice and it will display
- the set ballistic curve
- the zeroing distance
- the set ballistic output value
Well it doesn't do it. Instead it shows the angle, temperature and elevation

Any help and advice will be appreciated

Tanks for replying, but the problem is that i can't quickly check current settings as manual said. I can get in to the menu and change settings ok. But for example, if i haven't using them for a while there is a option to check what are currently applied settings before using them in real hunting scenario, that function doesn't work as per manual

Possible the data file is not saved as a .hex
I had one that had auto saved as dat.hex(1) as it was a duplicate

Binos recognise card but not data

Try switching to a curve from the menu and seeing if that displays drop data then switching back to SD card

If in doubt Mayfair is open on Monday

Hi Ed,trying that but same result. It actually displays drop data from memory card and preloaded curves, but only that specific function (checking current settings) does not work.

Works on mine. You double pressing quickly on the non ranging button when the reticle is displayed?
