would like to here other people thoughts on top of the range binos with range finders?leica and swaros binos??heard so much about both but to be honest I like both! my eyes like both.whats stalkers thoughts on both makes good and the bad and reliability on the rangefinders any makes let them down when out on the stalk?any warranty issues with manufacturer etc.

Son is in military and took his Leicas to Afgan.
Leica have been making LR kit forever.
Just see which suit your eyes and ergonomics.

I’ve had my Leica LRF binoculars for 8+ years now and never had any reliability issues with them whatsoever.

Leica for me. Just pip the Swarovski on clarity for my eyes. The best bins I’ve ever had (and stupidly sold) were a pair of Leica Ultravid.

What bothers me when using swaro LRF binos is the read out on the lens changes angle as you adjust them for inter pupillary distance. It’s set up horizontal, not based on common IPD

Just me, leicas might be the same I’m not sure. 🤔

I’ve been told swaro are better. I have Leica and I’m guessing the difference is pretty irrelevant in 99% of use scenarios. The display in glass suits me better and I like the fact the laser is not inside the barrel of the binos affecting light transmission?

Best advice is try them out IF you can. Everyone's eyes are different. You might find one binocular image superior to the next BUT how they feel in the hand or ease of use can be more important. NL Pure are incredible for me because the huge focus wheel and the shape of barrels fit my hand perfectly. Diopter mechanism is best I've used. The image is cherry on top. Zeiss SF only lose out on FOV and edge sharpness.

Try them all if you can, but for me Swaro wins easily.

Had both, Leica I found were very bronzed compared to a very bright Swaro for my eyes.

Zeiss HT RF sit in the middle of the two, slightly less crisp and duller than the Swaros.

Adding Meopta, they sit above Leica for me - best bargain buy.

Vortex bring up the rear - good, but overrated due to the warranty.
