Light Force Lamp Leaking

Hi guys, my light force lamp is leaking like crazy! It’s been leaking for a while and I’ve just put up with it but the last couple of days of this storm it has been terrible! Has anyone got any fixes? The rubber boot has a hole in and is completely perish. It’s in a defender

when you say boot it this the power lead boot if so make a new one out of hot shrink wrap and a hot glue inside then hot glue onto handle once you have moulded it into shape.

Or upgrade to a Fyrstick, only system out there which isn't a Heath Robinson job.

Replace the boot and fill the inside of the handle with silicone. One thing I have done also is put a cable tie round the top of the boot to keep it tight. The lamp still rotates as the bottom of the boot turns on the base.
Ultimately I would go for a fyrstik handle bit costly though

Is there any other way to change the boot without cutting the wires? It’s not a new one on sockets

Take it out of the Defender. You may find the leak miraculously cured.
