Lightweight stock for Remington

I'm looking for a lightweight stock for a remington footprint, and at the reasonable end of the scales are second hand HS Precision, MDT Field etc and the opposite is a chassis and PSE made to order
Any ideas or anything i haven't thought of.....?

Preferably i dont want to spend big.

I know about the HN26 but outside my price bracket as i already own a long action.

I have two at the moment waiting for rifles to go into them, mcmilland carbon fibre edge about 26oz and a christensen arms lightweight which comes in at 18oz. Both are expensive unfortunately, it is the case because the materials used in thr manufacture and the process needed to make the stocks are expensive. Best idea keep an eye on the 2nd hand section and see what comes along.

The MDT LSS Gen 2 chassis is really light as there’s not much to it. I really like them, the occasionally crop up second hand (actually I have a LA in the sale section). Think I have a HS Precision kicking around also. Recently sold a field stock, a good option for sure.

i bought a McMillan hunters edge stock about 15 years ago and it is still going strong. I'm not sure what the current model is but i can tell you they are definitely worth the money and the wait to get them from the states
