Lightweight summer gloves for concealment?

Hi all,

In the winter i use SealSkinz gloves that are great. However i notice in the summer that my pasty white hands attract attention. This is usually when lifting and lowering the thermal spotter.

Does anyone have any recommendations on some tight fitting green/camo gloves? I'm thinking fingerless might help as using thermal spotter buttons are a pita with thicker gloves.

I wear Macwets in the summer. Very light and plenty of feel. Loads of folk think the name means they'll be waterproof, but they aren't. They're designed to be grippy when they're wet, nothing more.

I just use cheap gardening gloves, brown with dotted palms . Keeps the midges off too. I also got some cheap fingerless fishing gloves from China. These tended to be a little on the small size though.

i use thin work gloves from toolstation or screwfix i bin them at the end of the day bs

I got two similar sets for 99p in a local charity store - brand new. They’re green and very much like the Army issue ‘contact gloves’.

No, I've never seen them with that as an option. I believe Pentagon clothing made a shorter cuff.

I have used these Jack Pyke Polyester/Lycra gloves since early 2013 and the seams have been unravelling for most of that time! But you can feel the trigger fine through them and on cold days I augment them with the fleecy lined open mitt things.

Another option is cammo cream.

I often use it on my face and hands.

Just remember to wash if off before you meet your mates for a pre-dinner drink in the hotel bar. Achness Hotel, July 2015 in case you are wondering.

Lots of gun/shooting shops sell gloves around the £10/£12 mark, they are usually thin and therefore perfectly fine for summer use, if only to keep the biting insects off and give a little protection against nettles etc. - they are fine to operate a Thermal without requiring a fingerless pair. These will be just fine: Deerhunter deertex gloves
