The image is a monochrome photograph owned by the Mills Archive. The archive know who took the photograph but have no information as to where it was taken. The photographer is no longer with us.
The painting is a watercolour dated 1855 by John Moyer Heathcote senior. The archive have it entitled 'Drainage Mill Yaxley'.
Despite many hours of internet research, I have not been able to locate the whereabouts of the painting.
If I could discover its location, I would seek permission to photograph it. I would use a modern photograph to enhance and illustrate various local historical papers being produced.
If any of our members recognise the painting a PM would be very much appreciated.
