As title says I'm looking about a tac driver somthing I can go plinking with take to the range and do long rang crows etc. We'll long rang for a .22.
Looking a synthetic stock
Looking serious accurate bolt action all advice and help wanted and needed

I was looking at somthing to customise would this be possible with this and does anyone use these for target
It Dosent really need customised, comes in a manners stock. You can buy a chasis if you like, shoots fine without one

If you are after a bit fettering, try a Tikka T1X. I bought all my bits 2nd hand. Got one in it's basic black plastic stock & Mod on Trigger Traders, put it in an MDT chassis from Munkjack on here, 20MOA rail on FB. Might try bolt face shims from Fleabay next.
Plenty of other chassis options, chassis weights, different bipod setups, bolt knobs etc

I love the 22LR calibre but I have never found them half as accurate as most people say. At least not with subsonics. Most are good out to 50 yards but they open up part 75 and at 100 they aren't accurate enough for hunting use. I have tried a few better ammo packs too- SK rifle match along with a few others.

Would anyone mind showing subsonic groups of 22LR at 100 yards ? Is MOA or 1.5MOA routinely possible ?

Annie! Clinical if you can get some decent ammo. Apparently Eley test their .22lr ammo out of Annie barrels. Shame they can't make consistent subs.

I’m currently in the process of working with Anschutz in the USA to spec out a 1761 in 22LR with an extra barrel in 17HMR. I have an Anschutz 1782 in 6.5 Creedmoor and really like it. So I’m going to see what one of their new model rimfire is going to cost and depending on that will likely pull the trigger on one. They certainly seem to know how to make accurate rifles.

As mentioned above Tikka t1x. They have the same footprint as a T3 so super easy to find stocks for and everyone makes parts for them.
