looking again I think Baillie Grohe

Not sure, I’ve had bucks with Pedicle growth abnormalities which I’ve put down to possible frost damage after casting, I could be wrong.

Aren’t Ballie heads generally affecting the eye sockets and also caused by excessive protein consumption?

I took this one in the rut in August. The weight is wet but was 528g after 30 days and scored by CIC at 105.45. There was a lot of weight in the skull rather than the antlers, and the pedicles, especially on the damaged side were massive. Had a wee hole in between the antlers as well which I have never seen before. I think that very occasionally you just get some heads like that.

As Triggertrix has said, there is a tendency with Baille heads to have excessive bone growth around the upper head and eye sockets making the skulls weigh considerably more.
