Hey everyone, I’m looking to get into deer stalking and have been toying with the idea for quite a while. I’m in my early 30’s and have lived in the city for a while but grew up with a 12.5 acre small holding with 8 acre woodland in Kent near Maidstone. Folks have since sold up and live in Cornwall now. My bro is a farmer and stalks in the midlands, however he is busy and it’s not very convenient for me to get up there. I grew up doing beating with my dad and enjoyed doing this and would also like to do one locally however it’s been quite a while. The actual tracking side of stalking interests me more than the shooting side so if I could accompany anyone locally and learn some tracking skills that would be amazing. Also if anyone has a local connection to someone selling venison amounts other game please get in touch as I’m currently getting game boxes sent up from Devon and predominantly eat game instead of meat from the supermarket. Recipes also welcome
